Traveling to Europe was the best trip I ever had. I toured Holland, Amsterdam, London, and the Netherlands all in the matter of two weeks. I would have field hockey practice every mourning followed by a game against one of the near by countries. I learned that another name for a turf field is a pitch. I saw many different pitches, small market shops, canals, and cities. I visited the famous Ann Frank museum, took peaceful boat rides, tried new food, shopped, and went to a flower farm. I remember the atmosphere relaxed, the weather being sunny with moist air, I could always smell chocolate, and if you didn't move out of a bikers way they would just run you over. I toured all these areas by plane, boat, bus, and by foot. My favorite method of transportation was by boat. Each canal was really beautiful because on both sides of you would be the colorful housing they use in Europe; narrow buildings stacked on top of each other. The trip was very interesting and worth while. If I could travel there again, I would probably go with a smaller group.
